Martini Museum and Cocktail Masterclass
Here is the English translation for your website text:
Not far from Turin is the most “glamorous” factory – Martini & Rossi, founded in 1786.
The inscription at the entrance to Casa MARTINI reads: VOLERE É POTERE — “Where there is a will, there is power.” Indeed, this company knows how much effort goes into creating and promoting the most esteemed vermouth in the world.
Martini (wormwood wine) is a vermouth produced from high-quality wine made from select white grapes. Its magnificent taste and aroma are enriched with an infusion of more than thirty varieties of herbs, flowers, fruits, seeds, bark, and leaves. Thanks to the aging process, Martini acquires a perfect combination of taste and aroma.
According to one version, the prototype of vermouth was invented by Hippocrates, who came up with the idea of adding aromatic, spicy herbs to ordinary wine. This not only gave the drink a pleasant taste but also imbued it with medicinal properties.
During the excursion, we will visit the Martini Museum of Winemaking History. Among the exhibits are ancient amphorae from the times of Ancient Rome, Ancient Greece, and the Etruscans, as well as vases, ancient filters, large presses for wine production, telegraphs for transporting wine barrels, an archive of cult advertising posters, an exhibition of bottles from vintage to current versions, silver goblets, and a silver vodka hunting set that once belonged to Nicholas II.
At the end of the tour, enjoy a Martini cocktail on the elegant terrace of the mansion.
Upon request, we can organize a masterclass where you will learn to craft the most famous cocktails and discover the secrets of bartending.
