VIP hot air balloon experience in the Alps

My fiance and I would like to say a massive thank you to Tania from Alpina-Tour and Igor for our amazing hot air balloon ride. Together, you made this experience a very personal one for us and we would definitely recommend you to all our friends and family. This was booked as a surprise for my partner, with the added surprise of proposing to her whilst floating above the mountains (SHE SAID YES!). The Aosta Valley, Matterhorn and Mont Blanc views were beautiful and we ended with a very soft landing. The delicious prosecco also went down very well!

Referrals to Alpina Tour company was a great success. Working with the trip planner was always pleasant and fulfilling. She quickly grasped our desires and planned an exciting itinerary at a pace that fit our expectations for both sight seeing and photography. She identified great locations and interesting and exciting options that enhanced the value of each place we visited. It was comforting to know that they were available for any questions or required changes while we were travelling.

Booked in for a guided tour and tasting. It was an excellent experience made so by our sommelier Tania. She was extremely knowledgable about the wine, vines and process. Her easy manner and the ability to answer each question raised showed a deep understanding of the wine industry. We would highly recommend this tour and vineyard for value for money, knowledge gained and most importantly great wines. We purchased!!

We had a delightful day in Aosta Valley, tasting local wines, and eating cheese and meat. But what made this our BEST DAY EVER was our Tour Leader and sommelier Tania. We have done many of these tours worldwide and I can say unequivocally that she was the best. She was experienced in local wines an incredibly friendly person and a highly knowledgeable guide. I would do this tour a hundred times more if it meant I could do it with Tania again

The best decision my mother and I made for our trip to Chamonix was to book a wine tasting tour in Aosta Valley. Our guide-sommelier, Tania, was friendly, personable and very knowledgeable about the wine industry in Aosta Valley. We were picked up from the our hotel in Chamonix and the drive to the Aosta Valley was picturesque. The first winery we stopped at was the Europe's highest winery near Courmayeur which had both still and sparkling white wines from Prie Blanc grapes. Everything we tasted there was delicious and we wish we had more room to bring back their wine. The next stop was the private winery of Anselmet winemakers. Our lunch break at the restaurant of Aosta was delicious. Simple italian pasta and pizza but it hit the spot. The last stop was at private Grosjean winery. My mother and I would definitely do another tour with Tania the next time we are back in Aosta Valley.

Finding Alpina-Tour and booking my vacation through them was the BEST travel decision I've made in a long time! All of the tour guides, hotels, and activities exceeded my expectations! I loved learning the history and seeing the Aosta Valley, Chamonix, Annecy and Montreux. The cooking class in Courmayeur, the walking in lake Leman, and photo opportunities on Mont Blanc were also amazing! If I get the "itch" to travel back to the Alps, I would definitely book with Alpina-Tour again!

Excellent wine and cheese tasting tour in Aosta Valley with our sommelier and cheese ambassador Tania Chunyaeva. We travelled from Courmayeur to Aosta, visited 3 wineries, tasted many local red and white wines and learned a lot of secrets of winemaking. The tour to cheese farm was also amazing, it was very interesting to discover the Fontina cheese making process. Thank you Tania, we'll back to visit with you a goat cheese production :)

Couldn't have asked for a better experience than what Tania offers in her wine tasting tours. This is not just a 'wine tour,' it's a guided journey through time in a region cultivated from some of the most incredible vineyard landscapes. Tania is professional, kind and funny and she really made our day memorable. If you are looking for a one of a kind experience I highly recommend her wine tour. Our experience with our sommelier, Tania, was fantastic from start to finish. I booked this tasting thinking weโd try some new wine and maybe learn a few facts about them... but it entailed much more than that. We learned quite a lot about Aostaโs climate and topographical areas that produced the unique characteristics in the various wines we sampled.

Everything about our two days with Tania Chunyaeva was amazing. She is deeply and broadly knowledgeable of Aosta valley history and its people and culture. She is passionate and speaks perfect English. She took us to the places at quiet tourist times so that we could experience them to their fullest, and was always looking for something special for us and responded to our requests. Our weekend tour from Chamonix to Aosta Valley was perfect, even though we had some days where the weather was not too good. Our Tour Leader Tania was 10+, she was so professional, caring, supportive and has a good sense of humour. Our bus driver Roberto was also 10+, I felt so safe and relaxed in his care. Nothing was too hard for him and he always had a smile when greeting us in the mornings in Chamonix. Tania and Roby are a wonderful team. Thank you very much for a trip of a lifetime. See you soon

I cannot recommend Alpina-Tour enough. My two beginner children had an awesome time and we were astonished at what they achieved in their first week of skiing. Edi and Luca the instructors were adored and helped to make sure the week was a resounding success. Thank you to all and see you next time.

January 2019 - My husband, daughter and close friend arrived in Courmayeur from Australia with no idea where to go to organise ski rental and ski lessons. After searching the internet, we found a place called Ski-Maestro. Tania who greeted us was extremely helpful and spoke very good English. Within no time she had organised our ski rental. She also organised Edilio Berlier to assist us with our lessons and detailed instructions for getting to the La Thuile ski area for the following day. Edilio went out of his way to meet all of our needs, including driving us back to our accommodation with our equipment that evening.

Great tour of Aosta!! Our tour guide , Felicity was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Who knew there was so much history in Aosta? We toured the ancient walls and the churches and felicity gave us the history . We also saw very recent discoveries as we were told they are finding things all the time. One of the frescoes on the bishops house was discovered just a few months ago. Very exciting. Highly recommend the tour

We were bought a winery tour to Aosta Valley from Chamonix as a Christmas present and visited today. Tania was very knowledgeable and imparted the information in a jolly and enthusiastic manner. The tasting was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

Hot-air balloon proposal

You made the proposal to my girlfriend a special memory that neither she nor I will ever forget. It was done at 10,000 feet at sunrise during the fall right over the Alps in Aosta Valley. The views were breathtaking. David is an awesome balloon pilot and made a perfect landing. This is something that I would recommend everyone add to their bucket list and do.

Edilio was a wonderful instructor for my daughter (5) who had never been on skis before. Within a few hours Edilio had her talking the button lift and gaining speed in snowplough on blue slopes. I canโt recommed Edilio highly enough.

Our ski instructor and alpine guide Luca was a superstar. Even though wind had blown most of the fresh snow away he knew the sheltered spots to find some powder. We were 5 skiers and we all learnt lots, especially about avalanche safety, and the skiers about powder technique.

Tania was an amazing tour leader. She was knowledgeable, personable, friendly, and really seemed to enjoy taking people to visit the magical sights of Aosta Valley. We tasted a lot of wines, were served bread with Fontina and Toma cheese and local meat. The grounds are breathtaking and it's an experience I will remember for the rest of my life. We then went to a butchery for more wine and food, and visited a cheese cellars.

We enjoyed an excellent wine tasting tour in Courmayeur and Aosta last weekend. Having done wine tours before we thought this would be an interesting afternoon at a local Wineries. However we had an amazing wine tour, learnt new things about wine production - particularly italian sparkling mountain (the call it "extreme") wine and were able to taste and compare the many local offerings. An excellent enjoyable afternoon and we will return with friends and relatives that we know will love hearing about the wine production and tasting the produce. Tania the tour leader and sommelier is a brilliant host and takes time to answer everyone's questions.

Tania was the perfect guide for our day in the vineyards in Aosta Valley. She was extremely knowledgeable and held everyoneโs attention with her entertaining explanations about the wines of the region and their production. We thoroughly enjoyed the day in Courmayeur and Aosta and have left with a far better appreciation of the wide variety of wines on offer in the region (as well as an expanded collection of bottles to enjoy!). Thanks to Tania for making it a very memorable experience.

Ski Holidays in Pila and Cervinia

I first met Edilio a few years ago in Pila when I was part of a group he was teaching. It was evident from the start that he knew just what he was talking about and I subsequently had some brilliant private skiing lessons from him - he taught me to ski. Last December in Cervinia, I met Edilio again for a very splendid half day lesson. It was my first time in Cervinia and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I chose Cervinia based on recommendation from Edilio when skiing in Pila and I was not dissapointed. I must not finish before saying just how excellent Tania is at organising holidays and lessons. Skiing in Pila During December / Janunary

We was in Pila during the end of December for skiing and the whole family enjoyed a great experience. Our skiing instructor Edilio Berlier was a very friendly and professional instructor who helped our whole family get to a good level from beginners to being able to ski comfortable alone in a couple of days. We are also very thankful to Tania who for organizing the whole holiday which gave us no worries of organizing ourselves and let us fully enjoy our week with no stress. We would fully recommend for anyone to go and spend the week using their services. The whole family is very thankful for a great holiday and we will be back in the future .

Great thanks to Tania for organizing our ST Valentine's weekend in Aosta! She helped us with the private guide Olga, who showed us the town and all places of interest and even cozy bars and shops where we bought local specialties as honey, fontina cheese and Lard D'Arnad and so on). Our guide told us so many interesting stories and showed to us so many amazing places, so we fell in love with the region and want to come back at see how it looks in summer. Also great thanks to Tania for advising us the best restaurants in the town, we visited practically all of them and enjoined each!

I enjoyed every minute of the Snow Tour in Aosta Valley, Chamonix and Piedmont. Our tour guide, Tania, was fantastic!! She had the perfect balance of local & historical knowledge and knowing where the best wineries was :) !! Tania was also a great leader for the group, encouraging and bringing us together but also supporting us if we wanted to go off to do our own thing. Everything felt very organised, the accommodation was clean & comfortable, the coach was great. I would definitely recommend Alpina-Tour to anyone looking to travel in a group.

Weekend in Pila was supper. Visit to local winery exceeded all our expectation. Perfect wine, food, presentation. One day of freerde skiing with Edilio was amaizing. He find powder in day when everybody ski on snow crust.

We have been in Aosta for holiday, 18-28 December 2010, I with my wife, and another 3 friends. Joining Edilio''s and Tania''s ski courses we had a lot of fun and, incredibly,I have personally improved a lot my self-confidence and level on skiing, even after few time! Edilio is an outstanding professional trainer, and we felt like to be between friends! Of course, I recommend them to everyone.
