Vetan (1795m) - Rif. Mont Fallère (2385m) - Col Fenêtre (2729m)
Another amazing hiking route for beginners and well prepared trekkers. It starts in Vetan village, just 30 min away from Aosta. During all the route you can admire panoramic views on the mountains.You can find about 200 small and big sculptures, carved from wood and representing animals and personages of the Alps ( birds in the trees, mushrooms, hedgehogs, foxes, human sculptures). The ascent takes about 1-45 - 2 h.
This refuge is a new structure with the appearance of a typical alpine chalet and it is the perfect place for some trekking or a high-altitude excursion.
If you feel tired, you can end at the refuge, but we would suggest to climb up to the Col Fenêtre (1 h) or to a mountain lake (50 min), where you can admire the stunning views of the main peaks.
