Place Moulin dum - Lac Long - Lac Mort

The Place Moulin dump is located at an altitude of 1960 m and contains a 445-acres lake. The 4-km route is a dirt road which starts from the Place Moulin dam and runs along the lake. At the end of the stretch, there is a small village, with an alpine hut and restaurant. This is a very easy route, suitable for families with children.Time: 1h 15’.
From lake Place Moulin starts steep two hours ascent to amazing two lakes. During the ascent you'll enjoy amazing view on mountains, lake place moulin and alpine meadows.After 2 hours you'll reach the first lake, Lac Long (2725 mt) and then after just 20 min you will arrive to the wonderful lake Lac Mort (2844 mt).There are no bars and restaurants and it's necessary to bring sandwiches for picnic.

Lakes on Gran Paradiso

Lago del Nivolet

Altitude 2534 m, 13.6 acres. The first stretch of the route is a bit steep.

Lac de Loie

This beautiful hike offers varied landscapes and fabulous panoramas. Starting from Lillaz the trail starts by the Lillaz waterfalls before ascending through quiet and shady forest of pine, larch and fir. After the initial climb, you will emerge into Alpine pasture before making the final short push to the crystal blue waters of the Lago di Loie at 2354m. Along the way, enjoy views of Mont Blanc.

Gimillan - Lake Money

Panoramic route begins in Gimillan, near village of Cogne. Along the way you can admire the stunning views of Gran Paradiso and the Valontey Valley.
We walk most of the way through idyllic high alpine meadows, larch forests, babbling brooks and mighty waterfalls. The itinerary is quite simple and suitable for beginners. Near the lake there is no restaurants, so we recommend you bring some snacks.

Rhêmes-Notre-Dame - Rifugio Benevolo - Goletta Lake

A nice hike in the Grand Paradis Natural Park - along the Rhêmes-Notre-Dame Valley from Thumel to Rifugio Benevolo, which will be reached after about 2 hours of hiking.
There are lots of waterfalls and if you are in luck, you can see a marmot.The beautiful "Goletta Lake" at the foot of the glacier at 1,5 hours from the shelter.At the lake we will have our lunch break. From here we can see the goletta glacier that once lapped the shores of the homonym lake.

Lago del Miage

7.4-acres lake located in glacier Miage at an altitude 2051 m. The route is quite easy and suitable for families with children. It starts in Courmayeur (1230 m).Height difference: 800 m.Time: 3 h.

Lago di Liconi

18.5 acres at an altitude of 2555 m. It is one of more beautiful lakes of the region. Its route begins in Morgex (1625 m) and it’s challenging, but safe.Height difference: 930 m.Time: 3 h.

Courmayeur 1208 m - Lago Chécrouit 2160 m

Easy panoramic route at the foot of Mont Blanc to Lake Checrouit - one of the most beautiful lakes in the region.The route begins in the village of Dolonne and we go up to Plan Chécrouit (1702 m) after 50-60 min. This is a center of the Courmayeur ski resort, in summer it turns into a real spa complex with a swimming pool and a lot of restaurants and bars. It offers breathtaking view of Courmayeur.From here, we will follow the narrow path and after about 60 minutes we will reach the Lake Chécrouit, in which like in the mirror reflects Mont Blanc and glaciers.Altitude + 952 mt.Duration 2:20 h.

Lake Arpy (Lago d'Arpy)

Easy and without any difficulty, the hike will undoubtedly intoxicate the hiker through the scene on the Mont Blanc.It starts on the San Carlo Pass, not far from La Tuile. 6.1 acres, located in Chamois (2019 m). Departing from Chamois it is reachable in 2 hours walk, or in 20 minutes by cable car. This route is quite easy and suitable for families with children.

Lago Cignana

it’s a 215-acres lake, at an altitude of 2158 m. It’s one of bigger lakes of the region. The route begins from Valmartin and is quite easy. Height difference: 658 m.
