Hiking to Lac Blanc
This is one of the most famous walks in Chamonix Valley, suitable for children as well as for experienced walkers. From Flégère (1913m) we go on to the lake (2352m). The views along the route are amazing and there is a height change to see an Ibex on the trail. The Lac Blanc is a particular favourite of many tourists as it offers so many different perspectives of the range and demonstrates some of the most beautiful alpine colourings that change depending on the time of the year you are walking.There is a pleasant refuge at the lake where we can get drinks, snacks or a lunch.Starting Point: La Flégère.Duration: 1 hr 45 ascent from Flégère.
