Panoramic easy trail, with spectacular views on the foot of Matterhorn. We are starting from Cervinia (2050m), along the route we see the Matterhorn. We will pass through meadows, waterfalls, mountain rivers and after about 2 hours we reach the hut Duca degli Abruzzi (2885 m). After a rest in a hut, where we can also have a lunch or even stay for a night, we are starting the descent to the Plan Maison (2550 m), which we will reach in about 1 hour, and then we have a descend for another 1 hour to Cervinia.
In the summer period from June to September, when the lifts are working, this route can be halved thanks to Plan Maison cable car. In this case, the ascent to the hut will take about 1,20hr and the descent from the hut to the Plan Maison cable car will take 1 hour.
