Pedaling through the scenic hills of Aosta Valley on an electrically assisted bike allows you to experience the fresh air and help cover the distance and climbs. It is a not difficult itinerary, which presents short climbs and leads on paved roads. The itinerary can be good for people with any physical condition.
The route passes through the vineyards, apple orchards, river, forests, villages, Distance is about 30 km, but we always can change directions, according to your physical abilities and wishes.
We start near Aymaville castle, and then by back road through vineyards and apple orchards, we arrive to Gressan village, where you can see the medieval Madeleine church (XII c) and the Tour de Villa private castle (XII c).
After that, along the panoramic road we reach the Sarre royal castle in the village of San Pierre, where we will see also the Sarriod de la Tour castle, where we can stop for short break and a tasting of local sausages and the famous Fontina cheese with amazing view on to the San Pierre castle (XVIII c).
Passing through the apple orchards and vineyards we reach the last attractions Aymaville castle and we end our tour with wine tasting in the biggest wine cooperative of Aosta Valley.
On demand is available a tour and wine tasting in one or two best private wineries of Aosta Valley, where you can taste different wines of excellent quality.
